American actor and fashion model Chad Michael Murray was born in Buffalo, New York, on August 24, 1981. He attended Clarence High School in Clarence New York and was heavily involved in playing football during his school years. He has also said that he became a fan of literature during school. Murray clarified in a 2004 interview, that in his late teens, he broke his nose when he was jumped upon by three teenagers, that subsequently lead him to having a distinctive, almost trademark, kink in his nose. He vehemently denies getting a nose-job.
At the age of seventeen, Chad won a scholarship from a Buffalo modeling agency, and a ticket to the Orlando modeling convention. His extremely likable and charismatic persona, and the Adonis-like perfect physical characteristics, earned Chad the admiration of co-stars and fans all over the country.
